Mission Statement

Sierra has three computer labs as well as projectors, document cameras, Smartboards, and Thinkpads in every classroom. We are working to use technology as innovation. Some examples would be students exploring coding and engineering challenges as well as digital posters and other products of their learning.

The 3 B's

The 3 B's is a school-wide program based on the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework. Staff and students worked to create the 3Bs. We monitor how the program is going and ask for feedback from staff, students, and families.

Parent Involvement

Sierra has an amazing community. Our families are involved in a variety of ways. Our PTO encourages families to participate and attend the monthly meetings. Once the school year begins, teachers will create schedules for classroom volunteers. Our front office staff does trainings on how to use the various items in the workroom as well. We can't wait to see you!

6:30 AM to 6:30 PM - Kids Club

There are other nearby programs for families to choose from as well.

Extracurricular Classes and Activities

We have extracurricular classes like Sierra Singers Choir, Sierra Strikers Mallet Ensemble, student council, chess, dance/gymnastics, Spanish class, kickball, and tennis. These are just a few examples of the fun after school classes or activities.
