    About Dr. Diane Grieserblue line
    Dr. Diane R. Grieser (BS, University of Nebraska, 1987; M.Ed, Arizona State University, 1996; DMA, Boston University, 2013) is currently a string specialist in the Kyrene School District and is an adjunct professor at Paradise Valley Community College. She has extensive experience as a music educator and has taught a variety of music classes over the past thirty years that have included; college chamber music, elementary string orchestra, middle school string orchestra, general music, and world of music. Dr. Grieser is a current member of National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and the American String Teachers Association. She has served as the Arizona Band Orchestra Directors Association Vice-President for Junior High Orchestra Activities. In 2007, she received the award of “Outstanding Public School String Teacher” by the American String Teacher Association-Arizona Chapter and was a finalist in the Tempe Diablos Lifetime Achievement Award. As a cellist she has performed in community orchestras and has served as the associate conductor for The Southwest Youth Symphony. She is the proud mother of twenty one year-old triplets.
