I have been serving Kyrene students and families for over 20 years, as a classroom teacher, an instructional coach at three elementary and three middle schools, an assistant director in the Curriculum and Learning Department, and Assistant Principal at Kyrene de la Paloma. I am proud to have served the Paloma community as Principal since the fall of 2019. Our school community is an exceptional family, and our partnership, communication, and trust with one another allow our students to grow to their greatest potential.

I grew up in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Connecticut, and New York. I arrived in Phoenix by way of Tucson, where I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona. In 2008, while teaching in Kyrene, I completed my masters degree in Elementary Education. In 2014, I received my doctorate in Educational Leadership and Supervision with a focus on equity from Arizona State University. I now have all three state universities checked off my list! I live in Phoenix with my husband, Dr. Kyle Ross (KDA Principal) and our son, Luke. In our free time we enjoy going to ASU football games, visiting Disneyland, and spending time as a family.

I look forward to getting to know each of you. Each day, I will be committed to every child in our school, promoting a school that is safe and engaging for our students, developing a partnership with families, and supporting the staff so that they can provide exceptional instruction.
