Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year and the first year of Junior High School
    亲爱的父母and Students:
Welcome to the start of a new school year. I'm excited to be back on campus and getting to know each of you through our journey in English Language Arts. Please take the time to review each tab on my website, which will provide a wealth of information to manage 7th grade ELA. As I do teach both regular and GATE ELA, my homework website will always break down materials for the day, along with nightly homework. This is a wonderful resource for busy parents.
Meet the Teacher night is scheduled for Monday, July 25th, and the formatting of the evening can be located on our AKI website.
Here is an overview of a few items:
For ELA:Need a one inch, three-rinded binder (no zip ups), 5 dividers, ONE (any color) college-ruled composition book, several #2 pencils or refillable mechanical pencils, hand-held pencil sharpener, reusable water bottle, ear-phones with AUX cable that can be used for a Chrome Book, and colored pencils.
Your student does not need all of his/her supplies for the first two days of school. Please be sure they have several pencils, a water bottle, a snack, and a written copy of their schedules.Phones are not allowed in our buildings this year, so a copy of the schedule is a must. This year will be very different from last year, and OLD rules regarding phones, hats, and dress codes will be reviewed the first week of school to help set the year off in a positive way.
Thank you for your time, patience, and assistance with getting the new school year off the ground.
