Ms. Ochoa is thrilled to be an Academic and Behavioral Specialist and the 7^thgrade administrator at THE Kyrene Middle School. Ms. Ochoa began teaching in the Kyrene School District, and at THE Kyrene Middle School, in 2017. In her time here, she has taught English Language Development, 7^thand 8^thgrade Individuals & Societies, and Reading Intervention. Prior to coming to Kyrene School District, Ms. Ochoa taught in an inner city school district in central Phoenix serving high needs populations.

Ms. Ochoa is an Arizona native who attended grade school and high school in the West Valley. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management, before moving on to earning a Post Baccalaureate in Secondary Education. She has also earned a Master of Art, in Education, with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Principalship. Ms. Ochoa has served as an educator for over 20 years. Ms. Ochoa is deeply committed to the mission and work that THE Kyrene Middle School.

On a personal note, Ms. Ochoa is married and has two wonderful children, one of whom attends Waggoner Elementary. She also is a Nana to an amazing toddler! When she isn’t at KMS, she is spending time with her family.
