Reporting your student's absence
Parents are asked to call our 24-hour attendance line at 480-541-3601 to report a student absence (an email/voicemail to the teacher or Health Office does not qualify as reporting an attendance.) Please call the attendance line and leave a message on the voice mail indicating the student's name, grade, date(s) of the absence and the reason for absence.

Free Meal Service for Kyrene Families
Kyrene School District is pleased to share that free meal service for all children has been extended for the duration of the school year. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has extended a waiver allowing Kyrene to offer breakfast and lunch to all children and teenagers, ages 18 and younger, regardless of income or eligibility. The USDA is covering the cost of the meals, at no expense to families or to the District.
